CP breakfast or dinner?

We had dinner at CP last Sept, wow the food exceeded my expectations. My nephew asked to return there on our next trip, so I guess food, fun and characters work for our family.

If I'm up early I'd rather be in the park rather than having a meal. I prefer to relax and enjoy my meal rather than rush through it so we can get into the park. We did Chef Mickey's as an 11:20 brunch after a late party night one year. We've done Boma after 9 on our AK day (we'd been before and hadn't planned a full day there).

Our pace at WDW is not too hectic, we use ADRs and have used the dining plan. That styly works for us and we love the "break" provided by those TS meals.

We have only done breakfast at CP and always make our reservations as close to 8 as possible. This way we are done at or just after opening and already out of the crowd.

Our favorite breakfast at WDW is CP - we do it every trip. The breakfast buffet features one of my favorite WDW foods: puffed french toast :worship: We have tried CP for dinner before & it was just ok - overall, we have found that we don't particularly care for dinner buffets in WDW.

We have done all 3 and like Breakfast, Lunch and dinner, in that order. It is our preferred character dining as far as food in all of WDW.

Thank you for your input!

Jetblue has changed our flights 3 times and we're getting in later and later. We probably won't get to our room until 9pm. Wondering with all the excitement of being in Disney if we would be up early enough the next day for a 9am breakfast reservation or just keep a 6:20 dinner ressie. Park hours that day are 8-7....hmmm.

Thanks again

I wouldn't plan a meal for that first AM, too hectic and too tricky. Keep your dinner or change it to lunch. That way you aren't pressed in the AM, but can get that early park start if the family is up for it.

I don't eat a large breakfast and don't do the normal breakfast fare most of the time (eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast) so I always find the breakfast buffets a wast of money so I would go with lunch or dinner.

I have found that most buffets have very similar offerings for lunch and dinner so going with lunch will save you some dough if that is a concern.

Breakfast is much better, dinner is just too darn salty
