I'm able to make my ADR's for Dec.18-22 this Friday. My main concern is the CP dinner. I'm resigned to the fact we won't be trying Le Cellier this trip, however what are some of your experiences/results with your CP ADRs. Is there a hidden gem I should be considering? Thanks again!

If you are checking in on December 18th. You won't be able to dining reservations until Saturday September the 19th. It is not an even 90 days from sept 18th to december 18th. Because of the number of days in the month the 90 day window for December 18th arrival opens on september 19th.
Just thought I would let you know so you aren't disappointed and waist your time on Friday only to find out that you can't book until saturday. The reason I know this is because we arrive on the 17th of December so our 90 day window doesn't open up until september 18th which is this friday.

But with regards to the question, I would also be interested since I want to book a CP package as well. Would love LeCellier but agree that not likely to get.

If I am wrong on the 90 day timing then others please correct me so I don't wait until friday and find out that I am a day late for my 90 day window.

We didn't get Le Cellier for the last show as we really wanted, but did get Tutto Italia for that one. We were able to book Le Cellier for the first (5PM) show, so we do have a lunch CP package at Le Cellier. These were booked this past Sunday.

We like to go to two CP's if we're able to when we go in December. The CP is our favorite Christmas attraction at WDW.

Our DVC reservations are at AKV and VWL, for continuous dates, but we couldn't make the reservations from the date of our first arrival.

I had no problems booking CP for our trip in early Dec. I got my first choice of date, CP Performance time and restaurant at 9 Dragons. The only adjustment to my 'perfect plan': our dining reservation is about 45 minutes earlier than I had hoped. No big deal!

I couldn't get CP lunch at Le Cellier for Dec 3 which was 90+2. Wound up with Mexico. Rose & Crown was also gone. The other place I had trouble getting into was The Brown Derby at DHS.

We also booked 9 Dragons! Have you ever been? This will be our first time eating there. Every year we do the CP with the package and eat at Le Cellier. This year we thought maybe we should tryi something different and when the higher prices were released that sealed the deal. 9 Dragons was about $30 less for our family than LC would have been. We were able to get the time we wanted no problem.

Any recommendations on food at 9 Dragons?

I could not get LeCellier or Coral Reef calling at 90+7 days for any Tier. I booked Chef LeFrance for the first dinner (3:30) for the 6:45 CP show Dec 11. I originally had lunch and decided the next day to call and try for dinner as I did not like the lunch menu and had no problem switching. I had a split stay and called on my first check in. The CM didn't want to let me book my part 2 during that call, but I insisted and she let me. (I only insisted because the online recognized my reservation and let me book my entire +10, so after telling her that, she let me make my CP ADR too). Good luck, but have several options you might be interested in. This is probably my one and only time doing this, so went with the top tier.

This is our 3rd CP (not consecutive years) ... and we always book 9 Dragons. My group seems to like the "tradition" of what we've done before. As for food recommendations -- not sure what to offer. We all order something different and share ... so specific choices blur quickly. (Sorry!)

We tried for LeCellier for the last show on Dec 11 at our 90+2 mark and couldn't get it. We could have had it for the middle show, but went with Coral Reef for the later show instead.

I was not able to get LeCellier for the CP either. I booked dinner at LeCellier on the day I wanted to see CP, and booked CP at Coral Reef for the next night. I really wanted to get the CP at LeCellier for two reasons: 1) it is my daughters birthday and that is where she wanted to eat and 2)we would at least get the appys we want included for our 2 table credits. The appys at Coral Reef really dont interest us.
I call daily, but no luck. I do not really expect to be able to change! At any rate, at least we were lucky enough to get something we should enjoy at the time we wanted.

Good luck to everyone!
