Coworker asked me to buy Disney giftcards

okay so my coworker went to WDW 3 yrs ago and she has $500 worth of gift cards left. She approached me today and asked if I wanted to buy them from her. I said sure but what price ? - she said to make her an offer. I said $350 for $500 and she said SOLD!!! I asked "are you sure?" And she said she is a beach person and just wants to get something for the Disney gift cards. I totally trust her and I know the cards are good. I think some were gifts to her and she just didn't use them all. So I will get at least $500 in Disney GCs at 30 % off-----yay!!!! I will be in WDW in 45 days and I sure can spend them--- or book a bounce back . Sorry for long post just had to share.

I have a similar story, though not even close to the amount of savings you received. A co-worker's son had $19 and change left on a gift card from a school band trip and she gave it to me because she knows how much I love Disney and visit there often. I tried to pay her for it, but she wouldn't take anything. I was so excited. I kept that gift card separate from all the other ones, and was sure to use it to purchase Mickey bars. I took a pic of the treat we enjoyed "on her" and texted it to her. She loved it!

just an update - I bought $525 worth of Disney GCs from coworker for $360.00 cash today. I also used my $5 mystery reward from Best Buy to get a $25 Disney GC for $20. I paid for the Jingle Bell Jingle Bam with a them and I am sure I will spend the rest in December-----40 days
