I set the Wake up call so DBF could hear Mickey, this didn’t go as well as I thought it would, DBF is not a morning person, he didn’t even listen to the message and hung up on Mickey!

We went for breakfast in the chuck wagon... oh my at 7:30 this was busy. The breakfast is basic, cereals croissants pain au chocolat bread rolls cheese and meets, tinned fruit yoghurt and tomatoes. Hot drinks dispensed from a machine and fruit juices.

We ate quickly and made our way to Disneyland parc.

we stopped to look at the castle

and then made our way into Discovery land where we went on Buzz, Orbitron

and Space Mountain twice

then had a walk into fantasyland where we rode the teacups.

DBF then wanted to head over to Hollywood Studios to go on Crush’s coaster at 9:30 the parc was open and some of the rides were also working and

allowing guests on so we joined the 25min queue for crush and then headed to Toy story Playland to ride RC

then the rain started again once we were off RC, this proved a good time to see cinemagique and the art of animation. We then rode tower of terror twice and headed back to the Disneyland parc.

Once inside we headed City Hall to book a table for Cafe Mickey’s 7:45pm then on to fantasyland for Casey Junior

and Les Pays des Contes de Fees, short queues and both happy rides although we did witness a man nearly fall in the water when he lost his footing getting out of his boat.

Next up frontierland and gained fast passes for Big Thunder Mountain then headed into Adventure land were we rode Indiana Jones and the temple of Peril and grabbed two pizza meals in Colonel Hathi’s Pizza outpost, The pizza does not come pre cut and is very hard to cut with a plastic knife and fork, it was ok but I wouldn’t rush back, the side salad was mostly stalks but the magnum icecream was delicious. When i looked at the receipts i notice we had free hot drinks voucher for 3-5pm yum!

Then it was time for our fast passes but look there is no queue for big thunder mountain actually there are no train sounds.... it had broken down.

Oh well we can always come back later, we made our way to mainstreet to see if we could get a spot of the parade 20mins until the parade started and all down mainstreet and around central plaza it was 3 people deep we manage to perch on a kerb behind a family and see the parade

but we left before it returned again and made our way back to the hotel to freshen up and have a couple of drinks before our meal at cafe Mickey’s.

When we arrived at Cafe Mickey’s we were shocked to see the size of the queue for people with reservations and we were even more shocked to see people being given a table for the queue that didn’t have reservations, 30mins after our reservation time we were seated at our table (8:15pm we didn’t leave until 10:15pm). The food was lovely I recommend the mushrooms and DBF said the steak was perfect.

we also witnessed the dance where the characters get up on the podium area along with guests, we were a little unsure if the characters would over look us as we were just two adults this was not the case and we got to meet everyone and had some fun interactions.

Back at the hotel we went to the Red Garter Saloon for a drink i have the Glow”tini” yum and i loved the flumps on the cocktail stick. (I only have a video of this but ill try and get an image later from the video later)

Very cool photos - what are those 2 big green-tarpaulin covered things at the top of Main Street USA?

They were for the new Magical Moments festival show, I presume they were filming from them on Saturday night as the park closed at 8pm and when we were just getting into bed (about 10:30) we heard fireworks, the following morning there was confetti on the floor near the castle on Mainstreet. There are also large balls which were blown up and I think these will project images.

I look at your photos and get the feeling - I walked there too :lmao: nice photos, it does bring sweet memories back :lovestruc

and you did Casey Jr.!! How long was the queue? We didn't ride it, shame...

The queue for Casey Jr. was posted as only 5mins but it was more like 20mins, it was a nice ride not too fast.

for us it was 45min or 60min queue... 20min seems not bad at all.
