Stop the nonsense. Not with the holidays coming.
We (Orlando) have finally got the rate down . We don't need a surge again.

from what I’ve heard (correct me if wrong) Disney (and lots of other retailers) started clearance-ing out their masks prematurely as mandates were being dropped and vaccines were ramping up and than the delta surge hit and places sold out of their slim supply (with Disney even hiking their masks back up to full price) and due to supply issues they just never could get product backIt seems if they intend for the mandate to continue, they would restock their mask supply.
I feel like that's not likely as the just switched over to the new "sightings" concept. If they do drop the mandates, I wonder what that means for meet & greets. Will they go back to “normal”?
I still believe they will come back but probably not right away.If they do drop the mandates, I wonder what that means for meet & greets. Will they go back to “normal”?
I'm doubting that it would happen quickly. This is an issue that would need to be negotiated with the union to assure proper safeguards for the CM.If they do drop the mandates, I wonder what that means for meet & greets. Will they go back to “normal”?
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/10/27/florida-reaches-lowest-coronavirus-case-rate-nation/Where did you find that statistic? The one I found shows only 6 states with higher per capita. (keeping my fingers crossed that you are right and I am wrong)

Well, they can't stay like this forever, you know. Maybe they'll come back to meet n greet by early next year.I'm doubting that it would happen quickly. This is an issue that would need to be negotiated with the union to assure proper safeguards for the CM.
Your link shows the per capita rate since the beginning of the pandemic. The previous poster was referencing the current rate per capita.Where did you find that statistic? The one I found shows only 6 states with higher per capita. (keeping my fingers crossed that you are right and I am wrong)

I just want to not wear masks when we go in May. Ruins ride photos.
And I say this as a fully vaxxed person that doesn't even mind wearing them. It's just...my pictures.
Same here. What makes it even worse a lot of the Disney experience as a parent is kids seeing characters and the memories of it . I have a thousand photos from our Jan 2020 trip. Maybe 100 from our Jan 2021 trip.I so agree with this, its the pictures that bug me more than anything especially with 3 kids. I won't pay for many things that require them since I refuse to have a whole bunch of masked pictures, I can just do other things.
The indoor meet and greets stink for me because of the masks.
I totally get that and feel much the same way. But the masked photos will be some of your most unique and attention grabbing many years from now.I just want to not wear masks when we go in May. Ruins ride photos.

That said, we got lucky and hit on that short window this summer when masks weren't required indoors or out. And I was quite happy about it.
Yeah, I get it. Just trying to offer up a tiny bit of a different perspective. Bottom line is none of us has any control over it except how we react. For some of us the mask photos will never be unique, maybe a couple but that’s it, not all the ones that mask our kids reactions and smiles and looks of fear .
