Hello: The Canadian Government has now said that the Rapid Antigen test for Covid will be legit for fully vaccinated people to cross the boarder back into Canada as of Feb. 28th. Any idea where to get the rapid test while staying at WDW resort(BCV) and what does it cost? Thanks, Canadian Tom

We get the IDNow test at Walgreens. You make the appointments online. There is no charge. Looks like there are several Walgreens in Orlando.

Beach Club Villas address is this:
1800 Epcot Resorts Boulevard
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8443

So you would want to check the Walgreens website to find nearby locations.

I think there also are CVS stores in the Orlando area, so you can check that website as well.

I am not in the Orlando area, but my location has had issues with the pharmacies being overwhelmed. You can't get a shot without an appointment, so maybe you can't do testing without an appointment either. So definitely make an appointment online.

Also, I suggest calling the store before leaving the hotel on the day of your appointment. At some of the Walgreen stores here, you can arrive at the store and see a "Pharmacy Closed Today" sign on the door. I think the pharmacists have been out (sick? Close contact with someone who is sick? Have to take care of a sick family member? Vacation? Who knows), and there are not enough others to fill in. They do not notify people who have made appointments.

I don't know if testing is free for everyone, or just free for U.S. residents. (Actually I haven't been tested in a pharmacy, so I don't know for sure that it's free for anyone.) You might want to investigate that in advance, so you don't end up spending a long time at the pharmacy with a confused employee.

There are a number of places to go for a test, but none are actually on the Disney site, and thus you will need to have transportation no matter where you get a reservation. Walgreens or CVS stores are typical options but there are others. Likely you should do a Google search for "Covid testing near Disney World." Be aware that getting free testing is usually limited to those from the US.

I've done testing locally at Walgreens and also at the county test site (not in Florida) and they've never even asked for an ID. In the US, asking immigrants for immigration papers is a political topic, which is why most of the Covid stuff has just skipped it. It's the same for getting your vaccine. You can do it at MCO with no papers. Also, as a political topic, it might vary in different locations...

Last weekend, in Orlando, I had to get tested in order to do something back home that required testing the day before the event. I went with Millennium Labs at their Millennium location, they had pretty much 18 hour a day availability, absolutely no line, very pleasant staff, quick process--all online except the showing up and getting swabbed, and my results were in my email by the next morning. Highly recommend. It was $120 which is the only downside.
