Coverbands- Any DISigner make their own?

Hope its OK to ask this here. I read about people personalizing magic bands. I saw waterproof vinyl you can print on with an inkjet printer. Has anyone designed magic band covers that can be printed on this paper and do you know if they stick well and hold up? I haven't seen anyone mention doing this but I thought maybe a DISigner would have tried it. Thanks.
