Sooo sad.

Two ideas.

One - make sure the little girl gets to celebrate her birthday. Birthdays are important to little kids, even when the adults don't feel like celebrating.

Two - in a situation where the dad died and left a newborn, the friends set up a video camera in several different settings to catch several different groups of people. The people would tell stories of how dad acted during the pregnancy, what he said, how excited he was, how much he loved the mom, etc. The idea was that this newborn would have several hours of friends talking about how much his dad loved him when he was old enough to watch it. Could something like this be done for this little baby (and maybe a different tape for the 5-year-old)?
