Thinking far ahead to October/November 2003 but I'm just trying to get some idea of prices at the Courtyard for that time of year so I can decide whether to book a package with a travel agent or book independently.

We would be arriving Monday October 27 staying for 6 or 7 nights. Does anyone know if discounts are usually around for that time of year? What's the best price you have had? I know that Sept 11 affected prices a lot, so anyone who had booked for last october BEFORE Sept 11 I would love to know what prices you got.

I have a Disney Club card with Entertainment on it, is that any use for this hotel?

Thanks :D

Mazzy,

You sure do plan in advance!

I think that your dates (1 1/2 years from now) are too far away to do any real planning. Rates change all the time ... your best bet would be to look at rates for Oct/Nov 2002 so you can get a general idea. FWIW, it's almost always cheaper to book things yourself than to use a travel agent.

Good luck!

I stayed at this hotel last August for $20 a night. I heard about it on the Disboard and phoned up immediately. They had also had this offer the previous year for selected dates in August with only a limited number of rooms. I noticed that they had very low rates $25/$30 per night for last November/December.

Thanks Robin and Tracy for your help :D

Tracy did you book direct with the hotel or though a website ie mousesavers or such?

Thanks :D

I booked direct with the hotel. The offer for August came up some time in June and was mentioned on Mousesavers and on the Disboards but I had to book with the hotel. It was a special promotion that they had done before. I also think I recall being able to book the Courtyard through the Dis boards at the end of last year. I think that was because several hotels were offering really cheap rates after September 11.
You could also try Hotel Kingdom although I don't think they deal with bookings more than a year in advance but it might give you an idea of the rate if you cost for this year.
Good luck
Tracy
