Courtney Cox has a baby girl!

I totally agree with Jasminesmommy ... it's a good nickname, but I think I would have given her a proper name as well. She's got a lifetime ahead of giving her name, and hearing back in reply, "no, what's your REAL name?" Ugh

Wasn't Coco the name of that gorilla that they taught sign language to? The one that had the baby kitten she called "Ball"?

So happy for the Arquettes, they have been waiting for this for so long. But, Coco???

I knew there must have been a reason I was associating that name with a gorilla. That must be why .

ITA that this is wonderful for the couple but the name is strange. Maybe David jokingly told a reporter that was her name and now it's everywhere . At least I hope so !

I read somewhere that the baby's name is actually Courteney (like mom) and Coco IS the nickname.

If it is Courtney I am not sure I like that any better than Coco I couldn't name my child after myself, I would get confused too often!

Courteney Cox's own mother is also named Courteney. It's a family tradition.

On there little talk show interview i think i remember courtney saying if it was a girl that it is a tradition that it will be named courtney. if it was a boy i think they were going to name it afer the grandpas. I think that is what i remember
