Momejay,

Envie will be on its way Monday!

Shelby5514--got your envelope on Thursday....

On another note....I lost my Land O Lakes butter coupon that came out recently. I only had 1, but I was so excited because it is on sale at Shoprite this week for 1.99:mad:.....so I bought 20 off of ebay :lmao: I hope they come by Thursday because I leave for SC on Friday.

Also, quick question....I have these 2 catalinas from Shoprite for $5 off paper towels and $5 off of Windex/scrubbing bubbles (looks like you only have to buy 1 windex..) question is, can you combine a manufacturers coupon with the catalina at shoprite?? It says store coupon on it. I can't find their coupon policy on the website.

TWINSLUVDIS2 -

Oh, no problem. I figured something must have happened. You are so good about always sending them on time.

Hi Jill

Em, it could be due to how thick the envie was. Weight counts but it also depends on whether the envie is 1/4" or less, between 1/4 and 3/4", or more than 3/4". The thinner it is the less it costs to mail. Try to space out your coupons in an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper so that they can be folded up into the paper as flat as possible. I use a 6 x 9 manila envie so I can space them out as much as possible. There's also a dojiggy you can ask for at the p.o. Now I know there's a better name for it than dojiggy but I can't remember what it's called! :rotfl: It's free too! Ask for one and then you can drop your envie through the slots to determine its size. If the postal worker is really nice and gives you the laminated hard cardboard one it's so much better than the paper thin version. :thumbsup2

ETA: TEMPLATE! I just remembered the correct name for it. It's a TEMPLATE!! (Obviously I do my best thinking early in the morning! :dance3: :rolleyes1)

yeah it doesn't work...thats ok. I think this puts me at 10 posts so I'll try again after this!

LattNJ~ I seriously don't know why it takes 4 days for my envies to get to you from Indiana. I mean it's not cross country or anything. :confused3

Anyway, I've got another one heading out to you tomorrow. :dance3:

Getting big fat envi ready to mail tomorrow to NMOORE14 - thanks in large part to HMCFALL711. Though I don't post often - know I appreciate the coupons and have saved a bunch of money even in the last few weeks! Maybe when life slows down, I will post more often (one can hope!).

Honeybunches--Got a big envie in the mail today. Lots I can use and still plenty to pass on. Thanks!! :cool1:

Ruthie--Welcome! Because of the biggie I just received, your first envie is going to be huge. It should be more then enough to get you started. In fact, it may be cheaper for me to hand deliver it as we're practically neighbors! :rotfl:

I'm very excited to get my first envie! I've been going through the Sunday paper and clipping away! Look forward to getting the mail.

Ruthie

Ok girls what do you think of the show?? I have mixed emotions..I like seeing how much they are saving..Although I would like to see more tips on how they are doing it, like the coordinating end of it the databases they find to match up coupons and sales..Im still fairly new at couponing and love to learn new things..

On another note, I really dont like the whole stockpiles taking up there whole house(not to offend anyone that does this) I just feel like buy what you need and maybe a few more but seriously 36 bottles of mustard..104 rolls of toilet paper that just seems like hoarding to me..jmo

Love to hear your thoughts
I like the idea of stockpiling things if they are super cheap, BUT I never have more than 2-3 coupons for an item. I think I would do it if I had a bunch of coupons for something and it was on an amazing sale at the store.
Like Ken's dressing on shopper club for 99cents, and I'd have a bunch of $1 coupons for it, ya know?

Welcome new folks!

CAMERON991 I'll be sending to you tomorrow from KS :thumbsup2 I grabbed a bunch of coupons from Walgreens at my last visit - will be a nice sized envelope.

I haven't seen it yet, but have it tivo'd. I can't wait to watch it. I am assuming some of them use sites to tell how to match coupons to sales. I use couponmom.com. It is just like the grocery game, but it is free. She tells you when the coupon item is at it's best price. I do a little stockpiling, like toilet paper, because I know we will use it. It has helped me go from about 20 dollars a week to 40-60 dollars in savings a week. I only buy stuff I know we will use, but it has helped. That and the best coupon train buddy EVER who sends me stuff I need every week! Thanks DINKDisneyaddict!

See now thats info I can use:banana:..I get so overwhelmed trying to figure out what is really a good deal or not..:confused3
