Hello,
I'm just getting into couponing and I have a few questions.
  1. Does Walmart or Target double manufacturer's coupons over $1? (I have $2 off coupons for Boost Glucose control shakes that I'm looking to make the most of. Does CVS or Walgreens double coupons over $1?)
  2. What is the best way to search for specific coupons. For instance, if Mott's Applesauce is on sale at my store, how do I go about finding a coupon for it to increase my savings? Is google my best bet? That is what I've been doing so far.
  3. I read on this board about websites that will match coupons with sale items in your area. Can you please post some links to such a site?
  4. What general tips can you offer to maximize my couponing efforts?

My grocery budget is $55 a week for DH and I. I want to slim that down to $50 a week. DH is on a weight loss plan for diabetics so his meal plans have to be carefully laid out. Good thing I like planning, making lists and math! Next week we're having our first ever "Freezer Week". Our grocery budget is $25 for the week and we'll be eating mostly stuff from the freezer. I hope to make this a monthly occurrence. We're gazelle intent! Wish us luck!! :thumbsup2

1. Walmart, Target, CVS and Walgreens never double coupons. Kmart does double coupons on occasion. I haven't done a Kmart double coupon day in a couple years. But I hear they are making it more restrictive.

2. I use afullcup.com and hotcouponworld.com. They both have a coupon database and they do coupon matchups for a ton of different store forums. If I'm in search of a coupon, I'll check the databases first. If I can't find what I want, I'll try google. Then I'll try the products facebook page or their own website. 9 out of 10 times I can find a coupon for what I want to buy.

3. Like I said, I use afullcup.com and hotcouponworld.com for coupon matchups for the stores I frequent.
