I'm going to miss it!
We were lucky with the weather and so were able to make lots of use of the quiet resort pool. We also did the ride along NASCAR experience with the Richard Petty Driving school that was a lot of fun. We also got to explore some of the other resorts as we had the DDP so went there for various meals (CS and TS). For this trip we stayed at SSR and it was nice to be able to walk to DTD. However we feel that BCV or Boardwalk would be a much better option for future trips as a couple as the nightlife at Jelly Rolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall as well as the entertaining busker style acts on the boardwalk are within walking distance.
Question for all of you have taken a "couples" trip - what do you think is the best DVC resort for people without kids? I guess that could mean a lot of kids - resort with the least kids, resort with the quietest pools, resort with the most unique bar, resort closest to great restaurants... I'd love to hear!
We went last September - boyfriend loved golfing, restaurants, and bars, but NOT the parks. We recently looked into renting points to get a feel for the DVC experience, and I'm thinking he can golf and I can pop into some parks on our next visit.
