First question
Do anyone have any recent experiences getting a brunch reservation once onboard for Palo?

We are going on a 7 night eastern so we will have 3 sea days this is our 3rd cruise since Dec and I’m not sure why we didn’t want to go to palo for brunch until now.

Do they release more palo reservations day of in the app once onboard ? Or do we need to message guest services on the app? Or go to Palo once we board? I know they do with the drink tastings.

Palo brunch keeps showing available in the app but when I go to book it’s not available does it always do that? I noticed other restaurants say sold out. I plan to keep checking the app daily just in case one pops up.

Second question:
Has Remy for dinner been booking up? I know right now Remy is available each night we haven’t decide if we will splurge and do this yet or wait for the next cruise. We haven’t booked yet because I want to look at our MDR rotation first I know what night I’d be happy to skip out on so hoping we might be able to get a reservation once onboard.

Third question:
I keep checking to see if a couples massage is available on castaway but haven’t had any luck last time we didn’t have an issue but that I’d assume is because we were on a double dip on the magic. Is it worth going to the spa day of to see if maybe one is available or do they allow those to all book up in advance?

Fourth Question:
Has anyone done the couples choice recently? We did it in December on the Magic but I forgot the cost of it. And am just curious if anyone might have that information, or also know what the recent choices a

Yes, they can release more on embarkation day. I read a tip to try to get on the ship's WIFI in the port and use the app to book. If that doesn't work, then go to the assigned location for Palo dining (usually can find out where with the check in information).

If Palo is available but you can't book it, it is likely your party size doesn't match what is available.

Thanks! Yes, the past two cruises this year I was able to get on the WiFi in the terminal at PC and Miami. So I’ll definitely try that.

Back on the first sailing in August we had Palo booked but wanted an earlier time. As soon as we got to our room (immediately after boarding and going to the assembly station) we called gust services to see if it was possible to change. We were told it was fully booked. That night while sitting in Evolution so probably around 10:30, we got a text from them saying we got changed to 10:30 am. So, there is hope things may open up. Good luck!

We had multiple options for Remy dinner on the Fantasy a couple of weeks ago. And that has pretty much always been our experience. We also have MDR menus we don’t like, and wait to book on those nights.

Not sure of your party size, but if it is small, try to book for a lesser number. It seems very easy to increase party size (within reason) once onboard. Good luck!

Just 2 of us. I tried to just book for 1 and still nothing. But each day it shows available so must be for bigger parties?

I'm running into the same issue trying to book for my parents and me on our upcoming cruise. Nothing for 3 and nothing for 1 - but not showing sold out. I'm planning to be on the chat or whatever it is as soon as it opens and hope I can snag it.

Same here. I keep checking just in case. Sort of wish it said sold out other restaurants do would be easier then going into each day and checking for availability.

Or at least say “Sold out for your party size” rather than saying they “cannot book it at this time” and directing you to “try again or call”.

For sure - it makes it seem like something is wrong with the booking. I’m sure some people might actually call.

I just cruised last week. There wasn't advance availability for Palo or Remy on the nights I wanted, so I waited to book onboard, which was no problem. Just call them from your stateroom phone. Dial 0, and there will be a list of options, one of which is Palo/Remy. There is always more availability onboard than in advance.

Weirdly, I had a pre-booked Remy dinner cancelled by DCL a few weeks before the cruise due to "less availability" or something that night, but upon boarding, I was able to add that same night back on. On the 3rd night of the cruise, I even called and added a second night at Palo for the next evening on a whim. It was easy.

Awesome! Thank you!

Honestly? I'd thought about calling before I asked on here and people said it just meant that there was nothing for my size party. So yeah, I'm sure people call expecting to get it and then get mad at the CM when they can't.

OP we sailed the Magic in January and were not able to grab Palo brunch beforehand as it was only 3 weeks before the cruise when we booked.

While eating embarkation lunch in Cabanas I chatted with Dining Services through the DCL app and requested a brunch for 4 people either on the day at sea or the Nassau day. Within minutes they responded with a time on our Nassau day and we accepted. I did not try the chat from the terminal so don't know if that would work. Our cruise only had 650 guests so don't know if that is why we were able to get it.

I am sailing the Magic again next month (also booked a month out) and when checking in I was able to get Palo brunch online so I wonder if that cruise will have low capacity as well.

Good luck.

Our 4 night Dream cruise in early March had Remy dinner available every night (around 2,000 guests onboard). The night we ate at Remy, there were lots of empty tables (but that doesn't necessarily mean they were available at that time). I'm not a steak person, but OMG, I'm still dreaming about that Miyazakigyu...

Not sure about your actual question, but my wife and I had a couples massage on the second trip of our double dip on the above cruise. Maybe we just got unlucky, but there was so much noise outside, including a drunk guy (at around 10:00 am!?!) that kept yelling about how much he loved his drinks. It definitely made us rethink if we'd want to do it again.

During our December cruise we had a very loud group of people outside talking and laughing. I am not a huge fan of getting the massage on castaway but the husband enjoyed it and luckily we were able to book it for our upcoming cruise so hopefully it will be peaceful.
