Hey all! I checked out the VB thread, but had a couple of extra questions for you seasoned VB lovers. :)

We booked Easter, and I'm curious as to which airport you guys use? It looks like Ft. Myers is just about the same distance as Orlando, but I wondered if there was a closer option or another one I wasn't aware of that may be a better choice? It's time to start babysitting airfares!

Also, can anyone give me any ideas as to warmth of ocean/pools/air during late March? Is the ocean tolerable for swimming?

And, finally, I would be happy to cook our own Easter dinner, but I am curious if Sonya's would be a better choice? We have done Thanksgiving at Disney, and, frankly, eating on site was a massive let down--the food quality was really terrible that day. We knew we weren't going to be blown away, and we knew we were going to really overpay for it, but even with those low-expectations from the get-go, it still was extremely disappointing. Will Sonya's be the same for a holiday weekend?

Thanks for any advice/input/thoughts!

Ft Myers is on the other side of the state. Maybe you mean Ft Lauderdale?
Melbourne and Palm Beach are both closer.

The ocean is tolerable then....if you are from the north :). Cool if you live down here. There are always people in the water though. The pool is great.

Publix also offers Easter dinner meal packages, which might be a better option, because it would give you left overs. Everything is always good from Public, and it is easy to pick up if you have a car.

Ft. Myers would not be a very convenient place to fly into :(.

We've flown back from Melbourne a couple times. It's just under an hour (easy drive) north and the airport is just a few gates, so it's very easy to go through.
