Couple of ?s - Booking Resort & DP

I've read a few threads about segmenting the trip to get various DPs so I think I understand that part, but when we called MS today to inquire about booking a trip at our home resort (BLT), they told us we could only book a max of 7 days at a time. Is this the case? The CM also said that we had to have the same DP for the entire stay (which I believe is incorrect based on what I've read on here).

Here is our plan (and I know we can only book 11 months out, we are still in the 'gathering information' stage of our trip).

BLT - Dec 18-27th, 2011
**From Dec 18-22 we will have 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. We would like the DDP (1 TS, 1 CS & 1 snack).
**From Dec 22-27 we will have 4 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. We would like the DxDP (3 TS, 2 snacks).

So I guess my questions are:
1. Is it true that you can only book 7 days at a time? The CM told us we would be able to book on Jan 18 for Dec 18-23. Then we would have to call back on Jan 19 to extend the trip to Dec 24, call back on Jan 20 to extend to Dec 25, etc, etc.

2. And we can have different dining plans for different portions of the trip, correct? The CM said we would have to have the same DP for the entire trip.

I'm guessing we just got a CM who wasn't very familiar with the new process and next time should probably ask to speak to a supervisor if the CM is unsure.

1. Yes, 7 days at 11 months out.

2. Everyone in your room has to have the same DDP for the same days, but you can segment the reservation into parts so you can have it for a few days, then not have it for a few days, etc.

You can book a ten day trip with one reservation, but you have to wait until your fourth day. So if you are going Dec 18-27, you could book the entire trip on Jan 20 if you are checking out on Dec 27.
