I've just remembered to post about this now (my memory's really really going lol). Is DLRP a no smoking zone in general? Are there specific smoking areas? I'm just asking as DH smokes. I'm hoping that the smoking areas are quite few and far between:rotfl: so that he won't be able to smoke too much during the day.

Also, I've just looked at the seating plan on Eurostar. We're in Coach 1 and we do have 4 seats together (facing each other). There's only a little red 'tab' by the window as opposed to a big red rectangle (for the table). Does that mean it's only one of those tiny little 'tables', enough to put a couple of drinks on? Was hoping that we would have the huge table so that the kids can draw or do whatever on it.

There are specific areas for smokers and they are marked on the map. They are quite few and far between and are often located in odd places. The only on on Main Street (for example) is right by the entrance and the one in Discoveryland is right by Pizza Plannet.

No-one ever takes any notice whatsoever of the smoking places and people smoke when and where they want to though and the CM's do not enforce it!

I don't know the answer to the second one I'm afraid. Fingers crossed that you have a big table though!!

There are smoking areas which are marked on the park maps, there are 10 in the main park and 6 in the studios.
It sounds to me as if you have the seats with the little pull down trays, they are not too bad, ds2 managed to play with his cars on them one year.:santa:

Don't get me started on the muppets smoking in the queues  People can smoke if they like, just dont do a few inches from my face and flick ash on me, grr.

I won't tell him about this bit;)

Ugh I can't stand that either. Luckily, DH doesn't do that. He's quite good really as he smokes away from the kids. But it's the having-to-wait-for-him-part (if it's only in designated areas) which I don't like.

Arghhh the thought of this makes me soooo angry, and the fact that even if its ignored the CM do not say anything. I know im going to be put of DLP because of it :sad2:

Eurostar coaches 1 & 18 have a few table seats with only half tables instead of the full tables as in the rest of the train. This table is only in front of the window seats with just open space in front of the aisle seats but it is large enough for the kids to draw on etc as long as they sit by the window.

I've always found that if you bring it to the attention of the CM and say that if they do not feel equiped to deal with this issue that you will gladly talk to their manager normally has the CM asking the person to extingish their cigarette. Or in the case of the queue for Studio Tram Tour the person and their friend was escorted through an exit and out of the queue :thumbsup2
Always make a point of letting the CM see you record their name ;)

Thanks for that :thumbsup2
