We are doing our 2 week vacation for the last week of Oct, first week of Nov.
We decided to go to Universal the first two days, part of a 2-night, 2 day, 2 park passes thingy.
Arrive and check in Oct 24 to the Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to US and check out the 26. On the 26 we check in to Disney POR, in late afternoon till Nov 5.

-Is Universal busy at that time of year?
We went in early Dec 07 and it was a grave yard. OK by me! I could throw a baseball down any walkway and be lucky to hit anyone. :rotfl2:

-Has anyone stayed at the hotel we choose?
How is it?
How far a walk to Universal?
I looked on Google maps it doesn't look too far. I would love to stay at one of theirs but the sticker shock almost killed me. :rotfl:

-The Halloween nights they have, do you need a separate ticket from your regular one like MNSSHP?

I had a few more but I type so slow I forgot them. :lmao:

Thanks,
Chris

I can answer the ones I know, as far as the hotel, we always stay onsite so I can't help you with that

Yes, you need a seperate ticket to attend the HHN

I would also expect it to be very crowded the last week of October
especially the weekends, and ESPECIALLY since Harry Potter will be open

Thanks Moon Child,

I was worried about the crowds but I'm hoping because it's Sun to Tues it won't be too bad.
What's the average price on those HHN tickets?

Anyone else?

Chris.

What's the average price on those HHN tickets?
The HHN ticket usually sells for around $65.00 for the off peak nights which is Sunday and Thursday. The AP discounts are really good so if you have an AP, take advantage of the discounts. Since I live here, I purchase the Frequent Fear Pass which is LESS than a one night ticket and I can come back for all off peak nights. :thumbsup2
