couple of questions about the DDP

Appetizer is not included with any dining plan meal.
You get the drink, entree and dessert.
Tip is not included either for table service except at the 2 credit places that it is normally included CRT, HDDR, BBQ, etc.

I swear I read in the DDP guide that TS meals include app, entree, dessert & beverage. I gotta look that up again.

DXDP has appetizer, there are a few at B&C, like onion rings mmmmmmmm

The children's menu indicates app also, but it is more like grapes, carrot sticks, not what most consider apps

As PP said, the DELUXE Dining Plan DOES include apps.

MammaMoe do you have the regular dining plan with 1 TS, 1 QS, and 1 snack per night or do you have the DELUXE dining plan with 3 TS and 2 snacks per night?
The regular dining plan does NOT include apps unless you are getting the F! pkg or the Candlelight Processional pkg or the new AK Jungle Book pkg.

I was looking into the regular DP with 1 TS, 1 QS and 1 Snack. I misread the guide obviously. I just need to price it all out to see which is less expensive. My son is 10 so we'd have to pay for the adult plan and he just doesn't eat that much.

One more thing, for TS can you get an appetizer with your entree and beverage instead of a dessert?

At a TS you can ask to swap your dessert for a side salad, cup of soup, or veggie, but it is up to each individual restaurant as to what they will give you, if anything. There have been very few reports back on what people have been able to get, but it most likely will NOT be an app on the menu.

No.

You mighe be able to swap dessert for a side, depending on the restaurant, but it won't be a protein.

At most places, yes, you will be able to share a meal and use just one credit. Via Napoli is the one restaurant that rarely allows it.

If you are sharing and don't plan on doing any 2 credit TS meals then you are not going to come out breaking even or ahead since you will have unused credits. It would probably be better since your son is a Disney adult to just go out of pocket because then you can get him a kids meal and split with your daughter for adult meals.
