I'm thinking of staying at the Boardwalk Inn in August and was wondering about a couple of details not deal breakers but just wanted to know:

Do they have queen or double beds in the standard room?
Do they have a hair dryer in the bathroom?
I'm assuming that there is a refrigerator in the room (both my sister and I are diabetics)
Any other amenity I should know about on the room?
There is a large Arcade somewhere?
I will have an electric scooter so I'm looking forward to scooting over to EPCOT and MGM, I'm told you can do this from this hotel?
I've never been to this area of WDW with all the times I have gone so that is why I'm taking the plunge now. TIA!:cool1: :thumbsup2

2 queens or 1 king. I suppose it is possible that a very few have doubles -- I just learned that a few rooms at Beach Club have doubles due to odd sizes. But I've never heard of anyone getting doubles at BWI.

Do they have a hair dryer in the bathroom?
yes

yes, there is a mini-fridge in the room free of charge

Any other amenity I should know about on the room?
The room will have a small coffee pot and supplies, possibly a daybed in addition to the regular bed/beds, a small desk with plugs and an internet cable, and a balcony. There should be a small safe inside the closet.
They have the standard h2o bath products that all WDW resorts have -- nothing special, IMO. I always take my own shampoo because theirs makes my hair feel like straw!

There is a large Arcade somewhere?
Yes, it's right next to the health club.

I will have an electric scooter so I'm looking forward to scooting over to EPCOT and MGM, I'm told you can do this from this hotel?
Yes, it's not far, and if you take a shortcut through the Luna Park pool area, you'll save a little time.

You'll love it -- it's so much fun!!

Thank you so much Tara, you've given me all the answers I need (for now LOL!) I'm sure to come up with some more when I can get over the excitement a little! LOL! Thanks again. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

I do consider the arcade on the small size. It only has about 8 to 10 games in there. My dd9 doesn't even bother w/ that place anymore. Its MUCH smaller than the moderate's arcades. That would not be a dealbreaker for me though, we love the boardwalk and actually bought there. You will love it.
