Our family of 4 is going to WDW for the first time with another family of 4. (we have been 4 or 5 times, this will be there first time to the World). Right now they are set to arrive a couple of days before us. We hope to eat all of our TS meals together. So...
1) can we make one ADR for both families since we are under 2 reservation numbers and have overlapping dates
2) can the other family make all of the ADRs under their reservation number for both families. This gives us a couple of days head start, and as you know that means a lot. Let me say again- all TS meals would be together so we aren't asking if they can make ADRs for only my family of 4.

Your ADRs aren't tied to your room reservation. They can absolutely make ADRs for 8 people.

Thanks. I knew ADRs weren't connected with the resort ressie, but I didn't know if they would limit the ADR to 4 people if booking at the start of the 180+10 window.

No, reservations are never limited as to the number of diners in that fashion. You can book a reservation for as many guests as you want, even at 180 + 10, they don't have to be staying with you.
