What would individuals be saying if it was an abduction? The officials would then be getting praise and the 'race' issue wouldn't even be considered. I truly think that international adoption has become so common that most individuals would not think twice about it unless the child was screaming, as this was the case here. Usually when my kids are upset and screaming they aren't crying for their Mom, they are instead yelling at me.

That's a pretty common site and would be the last thing that would set bells off in my head.. Actually, any kind of interracial family is a common site to me.. Even way up in the mountains where I summer there are couples who have adopted children of another race..

I know this is going back a few pages, but just wanted to point out that I'm sure the bus was arranged so that the family could make their connecting flight in Cleveland. It's only a 2 hour bus ride from Erie to Cleveland -- I imagine it they probably made their connecting flight, which wouldn't have likely happened if they waited for another flight.
