How do you order ice water when doing mobile food orders, I don't see it as an option? Do you just ask for it when picking up your food? If you have a sit down reservation how long before do you need to cancel your reservation as not to be charged?
 
I believe you are able to get a cup of iced water at any quick service location, and for table service you’ll need to cancel at least two hours for restaurants inside the park (and the hotel restaurants) but at least by midnight the night before for restaurants at dtd I believe (I tried to cancel one at catal the day of and wasn’t able to without getting charged but was able to for other restaurants).
 
You can simply go to the register or where you are picking up your mobile order and ask for ice water. You don’t need to have ordered other food to do this.

There were two times I’ve missed the cancellation cut off for the app; one time I cancelled directly with the hostess at the restaurant about 30 minutes prior, and the other time I simply changed my reservation in the app and then cancelled the rescheduled one. I was not charged either time.

the cancellation policy is currently 2 hrs prior. Also note when PP said they were able to move their reservation to a later time and then cancel this is not always an option as it blocks your ability to modify at some point in time. I mention this so that you don’t assume that is always an option.

That said, kindness and understanding go a long way and if things are out of your control talk to the CM at the check in stand.

Also if it is a hard-to-book place like BB, there may be no future times available to move your reservation, thus you can't always use this as an option to move out your cancellation window. But it works well for the easier to book places.
