Hi: Anyone been to the countryinn and suite at calypso cay. How was the room condition and the breakfast? Thanks,

Deb.

We stayed there in Oct. The room was great!! Large, clean, had a fridge, micro & coffee maker in the regular room. They have three pools you share with the Amerisuites and time share but two are closest to CI. Free mini golf, music by the pool too. The breakfast was very nice, large selection of continenetal items plus a few heated items (I think waffles & french toast). EASY drive to theme park! Just hop on Oscelola Parkway. 50 cent toll but worth it.

We stayed there a year ago. It was a wonderful value for the money. For under $60/night, we had a bdroom, livingroom, 2 TV's, usual bath, plus microwave, & fridge. The zero entry pool was so nice. My dd loved it.

You do need to have a car, though. Everything is just a few minute drive (except US), but not w/in walking distance.

My DD had fun here. They have free mini-golf, water slide and she really like the crabs at the zero entry that squirt out water.

Have Fun we enjoyed ourselves here. Good value.

I also say great value if you get the room under $60/night. The buffet was just fine for us - cereal, yogurt and an apple filled us up. Nothing hot like eggs, but I think you could toast a waffle.

Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay back in Sept. so we never checked out the pools. Looked nice, though.

We usually stay there our first night in Fl. so we don't use up DVC points. The place is great. It's clean with great pools, nice breakfast, and really close to WDW. We will be staying there on 2 different nights in April.

we stayed there last August and paid 44.00 a nite through valutrips.com. It was a great hotel for the price. Staff was very nice and very accomodating. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat and was more than enough to prepare you for your day.

Publix is right around the corner. There are numerous restraurants in that area too. Taco Bell and a couple of Chinese Restaurants, Bahama Breeze, KFC, etc.

I would definately stay there again.
