counter service

We are planning a trip to wdw in feb 2010....we are getting the regular dining plan....I know a lot of great table service, but don't really know a lot of counter service that are good and give you a lot of food, last time we went to wdw we had gotten the deluxe meal plan. (way too much food)

I think i remember eating at a counter service in mk ( i think cosmic ray's or something...) and that was really good....but don't really know any other counter services that are good, we are staying at pop and i guess we'll try their counter service for breakfast one day...is it any good?

any advice would be appreciated

I'm doing the QSDP for my trip in early December; if nobody else pipes in before then, I'll certainly let you how the places I eat are! (If anyone does pop in before then, I'll be glad to hear recommendations too!)

We usually bring breakfast items for the 1st couple of days. Pop has decent pizza and sanwiches. Breakfast is OK, but not great. You can get cereal at the grab n go, but I would just bring it. In the parks, it is really a matter of taste as well. We always go to Pizza Planet or the ABC Commisary at HS; Electric Umbrella at EPCOT; Pizzafari at AK; and at MK it's Pecos Bills or Ray's Cosmic Cafe in Tomorrowland.

Go to allears.net and look at the dining link. They have all the menus there. Another vote for Pizza Planet @ HS. I know many people say it isn't real pizza, but I actually like the pizza at Chuck-E-Cheese, so what does that say

Here are some of our favorites:

AK = Flame Tree BBQ (very good) and Pizzafari is good as well.
HS = Pizza Planet
MK = Cosmic Rays and Casey's (we love the Hot Dogs and corn dog nuggets)
Epcot = Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion (we eat there every time we are at Epcot)
