We are just back from a week of wonderful eating. We really didnt have a bad meal the whole week, and I gained 7 lbs to prove it.
Our party consisted of 2 familys, 4 adults and 4 boys, ages 3, 4, 6 & 6.
ASMO FOOD COURT- We did a lot of eating here. We enjoy having something near by with a lot of variety for our picky eaters. And getting in and out quickly is another plus for us. Everything here was very good. I was surprised at how fresh and tasty the pasteries were. Even the burgers seems to be of good quality. My favorite meal here is the taco salad with beef. The only thing bad I can think of is that I wasnt overly thrilled with the fries here, but other than that, we were very pleased.
We never found the food court crowded in the least except for our last day(Saturday). We happened to be in there later than usual, around 9:00am and it was very crowded then.
Frozen drinks from the bar were great too. They had a delicious Banana Daquari.
ALOHA ISLE- Somehow Dole Whips always seem to hit the spot on a hot day at the MK. Our favorite is pineapple/vanilla.
BEAVERTAILS- My family split 2 cinnamon & sugar Beavertails. These too are a very yummy snack. We were lucky to find a bench under an umbrella right near the stand. It was a nice break from walking around on a hot day.
MAIN ST ICECREAM PARLOR- Yet another delicious snack. I think we stuck to the basics here, vanilla & chocolate chip, but this was very good, creamy icecream. What better way to watch FITS than with a good icecream cone.
MAIN ST BAKE SHOP- We always like to eat here on EE day, after knocking out Fantasyland. As usual it did not disappoint. Between us we got a variety of bagles and pastries. All were very good. From advice that Ive read here and on other sites, I had to try the french toast loaf. Oh my goodness...it was delicious! I will defiitely be getting that again. Another thing worth noting is the cinnamon rolls are huge! DS's eyes were definitely bigger than his stomach on this one. If you are on a diet, dont go there.
PIZZA PLANET- Here we had the basics, pizza and salads. We like the pizza enough to go again and again, but its not the best pizza around...good, but not great. We go mainly for the atmosphere for the kids. The salads were pretty good, with fresh lettuce(Im picky about my lettuce).
Any questions, just ask!
