I realize there isn't much in the way of counter service, but what IS considered counter service in the area?

Beaches and Cream!!!!! It's between BC and YC.
Great burgers and shakes and all things fattening:banana:
The boardwalk across the lake has yummy things too.
Epcot is a very close walk so all the CS places in the world showcase are great to eat at.

beaches and cream isn't counter service.

hurricane hannahs has burgers and the like (you can check out deb wills site for menu). I think the beachclub marketplace has sandwiches and such, too.

oops.. sorry about that.. no harm intended.:sad1: I just got all excited thinking about Beaches and Cream.

(I still don't know how to do quotes)

Exactly correct....the Beach Club Marketplace does have fresh made sandwiches...some pretty interesting combinations too. And the two times my kids have had sandwiches there, they liked it a lot.

I think it is a shame about Beaches & Cream not being considered a Counter Service restaurant...I think it should be. I like it a lot myself but not enough to use a sit down TS meal on DDP if I had it.

Hurricane Hannahs was surprisingly good, and the BC Marketplace has some pretty decent sandwiches. The Boardwalk Bakery smelled heavenly when we walked over that way, but we didn't get over there for a meal. And the walk to Epcot really is quick, so if you have hoppers you could hit the WS restaurants.

If you don't need to use a CS credit for lunch and want to pay OOP, you'd probably love Beaches & Cream! Otherwise HH's is very good and you can use your CS credit there.

Thanks!....I was looking for some counter service for breakfast/lunch on our "off" days from the parks so, epcot is out of the question for that. I am thinking that most of our time will be spent by the pool, so it looks like hurricane hanna's it is.

It's already been mentioned a couple times, but I wanted to give another vote to BC Marketplace. I love it-I've gone over there for CS even when I've been staying at BWV.
