Please tell me about the breakfast items available at counter services for the parks. Are they real breakfast items or just sweets like cinnamon rolls & such. Are they really busy in the morning?

Trying to decide to wait in a line at WL counter service, or go to the parks and try for breakfast.

Thanks for the info.

Well, I did find out that the MK Bakery does serve some breakfast sandwiches, but last time I was there, I remember the bakery being tiny. I'm worried that the lines will be long (and short on tables).

So I'm guessing if the lines are long at the Wilderness Lodge food court, we may hop a boat and go try the Contemporary's food court (Contempo Cafe on the 4th floor).

I also heard Ft Wilderness has a nice breakfast buffet, but I think it's a table service. We are trying to use counter services for breakfasts.

Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT has breakfast:

Adult Breakfast platter - Bacon, Eggs, sausage, and a biscuit $6.29
Oatmeal - add raisins or brown sugar no extra charge) $2.49
Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant $5.99
Kids' French toast - with sausage $4.09

Epcot-Sunshine Seasons.
The breakfast looked pretty good, but somehow I ended up eating California Rolls instead. ;)

HS-ABC Commissary.

At AK Pizzaferi has a cs breakfast. It's pretty good. But it's about the only option for anything besides Donald's for breakfast at AK on the dining plan. And don't let the lines at the Main Street Bakery scare you, they move fast and we almost always get a table.

WE found that quick serve options inthe parks are pretty limited. WL's quick serve is pretty small, but the options there are pretty good. If I recall correctly, they have a yogurt fruit granola parfait that is quite good. It's one of few places on property to get yogurt (other than the one kind that is offered at a few places across WDW which I think is always Yoplait diet strawberry). not only that, but they have REAL berries to mix with the yogurt. As far as I can tell, it's pretty much the only place to get raspberries and almost the only place to get blueberries on property.

The other thing that WL has that's good is a large platter. If you are on DDP, then several people can split the platter. It had pancakes, eggs, meat, juice and coffee - and I think maybe even toast. It was crazy. We split one among three adults and one child! Granted, WL's quick serve is not the most excit atmosphere.

At HS, Starrign ROlls has some stuff, but ti's gettign fairly crowded. the ABC Commisary is not very good. I think it's about the only place that has real breakfast. However - almost next door to the ABC Commisary is a place that looks like a gift shop. It is called Writer's Stop. It doesn't have much beyond coffee and pastry, but it also has minimal lines. You can grab a few things there and supplement fromthe offerings at the ABC Com.

Get to the Main Street Bakery at rope drop for some Ham, Egg, and Cheese Croissants...they are TO DIE for. You can get breakfast at Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom, ABC Commissary and Starring Rolls at Hollywood Studios, and Sunshine Seasons at Epcot. But trust me, you do NOT want to miss the croissant sandwiches at Main Street Bakery. Get a cinnamon roll to go with it and you'll be full until lunch!
