We've decided on economizing a bit on dining this trip, and plan to get carry-out counter service food to bring into Fantasmic. That way we sit and eat while waiting for the show to start--and get great seats (hopefully).
Anyone have any favorite counter service restaurants? DS and I liketo eat resonably healthy and the kids will eat typical kid fare.
Thanks,

I like the Starring Roles Bakery next door to Hollywood Brown Derby.

The Farmers Market area, to your left as you are looking towards the entrance of Rockin' Roller Coaster, has a wide variety of foods. I saw baked potatoes, smoked turkey legs, hot dogs, polish sausage, and other things available. There are several counters. It is very close to the entrance for Fantasmic.

Ahutton hit the nail on the head - The Farmer's Market area. There is something for everyone there. Last year we went in December and saw Fantasmic 3 times. One night we wanted to do CP right afterwards so we decided to eat while waiting for Fantasmic. Those baked potatoes hit the spot. Also had a side salad. They do sell hot dogs, soft pretzels and popcorn inside the theater too. The time goes by quickly when you eat your dinner while waiting.

We've enjoyed the ABC Commissary several times. Have eaten the Cuban and the Stir Fry.
