On our upcoming trip, I have reservations at Le Cellier for lunch at 12:00 and Cape May Seafood buffet at 6:45. We are pretty big eaters....but I'm wondering if that might be too much, even for us. Originally, I cancelled the LC reservation...but it keep showing up on my reservation list, even after updating them...so I think the universe is trying to tell me that i need that mushroom filet after all. :) What do you think? (If it matters, every other day of our trip, we'll have one TS meal per day.)

I say go for it! You are on vacation! I think you have enough time and enough distance in between the 2 reservations that you shouldn't have a problem.
By the time you walk out of Epcot and transport yourself to Cape May you will be more than hungry!!

I always see reports of wow how do you eat that much in a day and am floored, that people eat so little. My Dh is very active and has a high metabolism, if people saw what he could put away in a day...epecially at Disney, lol.

Have a great trip and enjoy your restaurants!

You should call res by phone and ask, if in fact,if your res is still there or not, if you know you deleted it, and press the delete button, chances are it is gone, I had a couple do the same thing, but they were no longer active, showing up on Disney res.:confused3

That would be way too much food for me but if you think you could handle it I say go for it. I rarely do more than one TS restaurant a day unless I am going to make a meal out of a couple of appetizers. Worst case scenario you could eat something small at the second restaurant.

Yeah I could handle both easily. They are far enough apart and for me LeCellier isn't a big portion. An appropriate one...lol, but not big enough for me to have a lighter dinner.
I would definitely be ready to eat by your dinner time.

I would do a lite breakfast and then do an early lunch - more like 11:30 AM ADR - then do Cape May at 7:15 PM for dinner - you will get more time to see EPCOT in the afternoon :goodvibes

You'll be fine! You usually eat a lunch and dinner, right? No one says you have to stuff yourself silly:thumbsup2 Even if you do, who cares? It's okay to indulge with all that walking. At the buffet, you can sample lots of different things and you control the portion size. Consider yourself lucky! I do!

Oh go for it- surely all the walking will build up a nice appetite and it is vacation after all. Enjoy.

this is just my 2 cents - having done this once before, we learned to never do 2 TS in one day, we are big eaters and we were not that hungry and i believe our ressies were like @ 11:30 and then 6:45. that's just us. we now make our TS for dinners. sometimes we would do maybe crystal palace or sci fi for our lunch and then a cs for dinner.

The answer is yes I would and I have =:) We always do DxDDP and we love to eat. You'll be stuffed but happy! Then again we weren't that impressed with the CM buffet so we didn't eat that much. DH liked it more than me, I just wanted crab legs and they were a big disappointment:sad1:

We could've never done both a TS lunch & dinner in the same day.

Now breakfast & dinner, we have....both Cape May Cafe breakfast & dinner on a Sunday. YUM!

(Please note that we totally skipped lunch that day, or we would've never been hungry enough for that seafood buffet).

All I can tell you is that we had lunch at Le Cellier and were so stuffed we couldn't eat the rest of the day. But knowing you'd be doing a buffet later, you could eat lighter, maybe? :goodvibes

I did Cape May one time for dinner after eating a big lunch at what was Spoodles. I remember we made dinner for more like 7:30 ish so when we were done we'd be able to see the fireworks from BC side of the water.

It was a huge buffet and we didn't eat nearly all of it, but felt it was worth it.

I say if you enjoy eating and want to hit both do it. Being that Cape May is a Buffet you can put one piece of everything on your plate so you can taste it all rather than loading up on shrimp or something.

popcorn::

I almost never eat two table services in one day. The time or two that I did it I had well over 8 hours between the two meals. Maybe try for a later Cape May reservation?
