Hi! Dang it i missed two days!!! and a Dis meet???

They way you and That's Nice interact here on the dis i wish i was a fly on the wall when you guys meet up!!! So happy for all of you!!!!

1900 Park Faire was the first ADR we ever did on Megan's first trip in 2002..had such a special interaction with Alice in the lobby! we've had breakfast there 3 other times and dinner 3 times! has always been good.

So happy you are finally meeting up with Tim and family, going to be a special time for you all

Well, unfortunately, Mark's former company is not budging on the severance. We have decided to accept what they offered, as pitiful as it is, and not pursue an age discrimination. They could withdraw the offer if we do and if we lose (which it is 50/50 to go either way), we'd be no better off.

So are you still planning to stay in the Chicago area and save the Florida plans for a few years down the road?

Wow, what a great DIS meet. I ready Tim's early TR's with Juliana, she is such a cutie. And I just read through the last TR with Christopher. I guess that means I'll be reading two TR's about this meet.

Don't count on it; Tim seems to have fallen off the TR writing wagon.

Beaches and Cream, YUM-O! We had dessert there on our first family trip -it was one of my boys favorite memories and this is in our plans for a meal in December. My kids are very excited!

I'm looking forward to that walk; we won't be relying on Disney transportation at all this trip as we got a car for the entire time. It's going to be fun to meet Tim and his whole family.

We are going to Beaches & Cream for supper on the 22nd since this is our arrival day. We have never been but heard a lot of good things so I am excited.

That's the day we are going to Beaches & Cream; we have a 3:30 ADR!

So why do you like staying at Boardwalk better then Beach Club? I am asking just to make notes for next year when it's just DH & I going.

I just didn't care for the Beach Club. The bus service was beyond horrible, the CM's were not very friendly and I hated the pool. If I had little kids, I'd be a nutcase trying to keep an eye on them...just too big and too crowded.

This may sound silly, but is that photo of the scotch egg at Rose and Crown an entree? My husband has a very hearty appetite and he could probably eat three plates that size. I generally have to find restaurants with decent sized portions for him.

It is an appetizer.

I'm with you on Mission Space. The last time I rode that, I had a headache and was nauseous the rest of the day.

I'll be interested to hear about Boardwalk. We're kicking around Beach or Yacht Club for 2015.

We did Boardwalk in December of last year and fell in love with it; we hope to explore it more this trip with the warmer weather.

Sadly, this will be my first year missing Food and Wine in several years. Have the ravioli and Italian Margarita in Italy for me!

I've made a note of them since I have no idea where to even begin with F&W.

We are going to try to FP the same things and hopefully fit in Star Tours too.

I'm so glad we were able to get our fastpasses for the same time.

I tried to get a dinner ADR there on Sunday but it was all booked up.

Keep checking...I found a few things at different times that I wanted to change.

We are going to head to MK to catch Wishes… it most likely will be our only chance.

I am NOT missing Wishes this trip.

Kathy was one of the first people I interacted with here on the DIS back in 2008. She answered all my CSR questions and persuaded me to stay at CSR. Now look at her- she is a DVC villa snob!

My First DIS post!

I just want to let everyone know how generous Kathy is. She sends the kids gifts for holidays, ever forgets their birthdays, and sends them books, stickers, etc. Thank you to you and Mark for all that you do for the kids. We really appreciate it. I can't wait till she has grandkids so she can spoil them and stop spoiling mine.

And I told you as soon as those grandbabies do come I will start spoiling them. But that is awhile yet, so I get to continue to spoil yours. I hope to have Juliana's surprise in the mail to her next week.

I also love Beaches and Cream; I am glad they started letting you make dining reservations there, no more camping out by the hostess stand right at 11AM to see if you can get in!

We got lucky the first time on Mark's surprise trip; the second time we did have a bit of a wait, so I'm glad they started accepting them too.

I have never eaten at Rose & Crown - I will have to add that to our bucket list of Disney restaurants. Same for Beaches & Cream! I'm hoping that once Rory is older (and hopefully outgrows his dairy allergy), we can take down a Kitchen Sink together.

We have never attempted the Kitchen Sink. You need a big group for that.

Finally caught up! I take a few days off and I get so far behind! Love your plans so far. They seem so relaxed! Easy mornings and park time at night sounds perfect! It can be so hot down there in Sept so these plans really look great!

Yes, we've been in September a number of times and why I planned more relaxing time for the hubby.

1900 Park Faire is one of my FAVORITES at Disney! The sticky rolls with nuts (not sure if they are almonds, pecans, etc) are the BEST! My friend and I were talking about "the rules" with her new bf, and one of the main rules is 1900 PF is "Our" place and we can't go there if the other is not with us. She and her bf are planning a trip there so we had to fill him in.

Mark loves sticky rolls...I'll tell him. That's too funny that you can't go without each other.

ToT, TSM and RnC my favorites in MGM! Sounds like a great start. We have yet to eat at Beaches & Cream but, we are going to change that in December. We are surprising DS13 when we go...going to get the Kitchen Sink.

We couldn't get RnC because of the tiering at the Studios which I forgot about. I don't do it so Mark can do it single rider or go with Tim and Juliana and Mel while I watch the little kids.

The DIS meet sounds wonderful! I'm sure y'all will have a great time! You can spoil the kids in person now.

Yes, I can spoil them in person...and I plan to. And you just be quiet Timothy!
