As many times as we have been to WDW, have never ridden on this ride.
I am a big chicken. Is it really bumpy and grindy and will you be able
to put everything in your body back together again? Some kind Disser
please let me know. :confused3

I went on this ride for the first time last week. It really was very bumpy as it is supposed to simulate a jeep driving over rough terrain. It wasn't too bad, but I could definitely do without the bumps. I don't think they add anything to the ride. It was also very loud.

It's a little bumpy, but it has no big drops and it's not very fast. It might scare some small children. Our kids loved it. Our youngest was 6 the first time we rode it and we had to do it again! Yes, you can easily put yourself back together when you get off the ride. I vote it as one of the best at AK!

I rode it once to say I rode it. I'm not sure I will ride it again. It is dark and bumpy or kind of jerky. So it depends you may want to give it a try.

:goodvibes Thanks guys, maybe I will give it a try. But first will
have to convince Dh, maybe I will tell him it is the tunnel of love.

:rotfl2:

If you have anykind of back trouble stay clear of this ride. It is very rough. I rode it once and Once was enough never ever again. My hips were black and blue the next day after riding this.

I changed my mind....don't want to ride this. Am scared again.

I love this ride and I do not like anything too rickety. This is my 2nd fave in AK.

Actually, I think Kilimanjaro is much more bumpy than Dinosaur. :moped: If you can handle Kilimanjaro, you can do this. I would say this...it is a loud ride, so if you don't like noise, wear earplugs. :)

My five year old loves this ride, but it is very bumpy and jerky for an older person.

I'm a pretty picky rider and I enjoy Dinosaur. I won't ride Splash or RRC, but the movement on this one doesn't bother my stomach. I do hate the loud noises, but I also know they're not real. If you really object to loud noises, be the first one into the car. If you're the last, the large Carnotaur looms over you and roars in your ear. My friends have a spectacular picture of me practically lying in their laps with my fingers in my ears and my eyes screwed shut. Pretty funny, and I'll ride it again in March!

:rotfl2: I would love to see that. :teeth:

my four year old daughter rode this in Sept and loved it! It was frightening at the end and she put her head down- but no tears and wanted to ride again!

Not scary at all - but never again. I spent the whole time having my body lurched and jerked around and strobe lights flashed in my eyes. I was being physically jolted so much that I was barely able to glance at the dinosaurs. Before halfway through I just tried to hold onto the bar in front of me and squeeze my eyes shut and wait for the physical assault to be over.

Best ride in AK IMHO (haven't been on EE yet). I rode it only a few months after having spinal cord surgery and was fine. It's bumpy, and that just makes the ride more fun.

We loved Dinosaur!! It is very loud and it really scared my 9 yr. old DS.
But we laughed the whole ride enjoying him holding his ears and trying to lay on his 12 yr. old sister. It was funny because he had been so brave and gung ho on all the other rides at WDW. He would even go ahead of the rest of us in line and ride with total strangers if it meant he could sit up front or on the egde. He loved RNR and ToT but Dinosaur did him in. He did ride it 2 more times though. But we really had fun with him.

It's a must for me when I'm at AK.

Haha. I'm such a wuss. I'm 22, can't even count the number of times I've been on it, and STILL haven't seen all of it. I'm too chicken to keep my eyes open for the whole thing. But DBF and I love it anyway and do it every trip at least once.
