Could someone remind me how to add a Mickeypath countdown banner?

I remember how to get in to edit my siggie, but can't remember how to add the banner...

I need the "Dummies' Guide" step-by-step version, please!

Last month the webmasters deemed that the MickeyPath tickers had a bug on them, so in an effort to protect this site, they've blocked them. There is a sticky at the top of the forums concerning safer tickers.

Actually it is the Magical Kingdoms tickers that aren't able to be used any more. OP if you take a look at the Welcome Board-- the first one at the top of the main Forum list-- there is a Video Tutorial where there is a walk through of putting up a ticker, and also instructions in the FAQ thread there.

DisBoards has their own tickers site now. Try www.distickers.com. That's where I got mine!

I don't remember the DIS every blocking Mickeypath? Here is the link to the information on the Magical Kingdoms ones, which are the only ones I know of that are blocked. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2427371

I am pretty sure that I have seen numerous Mickeypath ones on the boards. I think they are the ones that do the ticker that looks like a CM nametag. Actually I am thinking that quite a while back they may have been the ones that had their server crash or something like that so they were down for a day or two, but that had nothing to do with the DIS blocking them, they just ceased to exist for a few hours but were back up pretty quickly.

And the DIS does have some great tickers now!

I still can't get it to work, even following the tutorial step-by-step...I just get the red "x"... I give up.
