I need some advice from the Dis experts! We are going in mid July for the first time in the summer--have always gone in the off season with lower crowds. For prior trips, I looked at Easywdw for suggestions, but Josh hasn't been doing his calendars lately. Touring Plans and Kenny the Pirate often clash in what they recommend, so I figured I would as the Dis peeps who know so much!

I am trying to figure out best days for Epcot and also HS. Would Epcot be better on a Friday or a Saturday in mid July? Same for HS--would a Friday or Saturday be better? Neither of these parks have extra magic hours on those days. Thanks!

It's tough to say as the weekend, in general, brings in a lot of locals and July is busy, busy, busy to begin with. I'd go to Epcot on Friday and DHS on Saturday, using the "logic" that most locals won't arrive until their workday ends on Friday and therefore they'll only be in the park for a couple of hours, compared to Saturday which will draw folks in for a full day. Epcot always seems a lot busier to me on the weekends, especially WS, so we try to avoid it then and visit on a weekday. I'd knock out the WS during the morning and early afternoon on Friday.

Thanks so much for the advice!

I have to admit, I feel like Touring Plans has never led us wrong. Granted, we've only been twice, but that's what I've based our upcoming trip off of. We always go mid june, and I feel like it's been about what they've said.
