Puppy Comes Into World With Green Fur

RIDDLE, Ore. -- Debra Ashdown was a little blue when one of her new puppies came out green.

Ashdown's Siberian husky, Pixie, had a litter of seven pups. The first six looked normal, but the seventh had green fur.

The Riddle woman was so worried about the strange looking little dog that she took it to the vet.


Dr. Alan Ross assured her the green puppy wasn't a critter from Mars. He said the puppy's fur was stained by naturally occurring fluids in utero. Ross said the green tinge will fade with time.

The article says she is from a town called Riddle- I was thinking that the pup could be somehow belong to The Riddler from Batman.
