I'd really appreciate some advice from you guys....

I'm very confident about Monday's interview, but I really want this job.

However, as I've said before, I look young anyway, but my concern is that I have braces on my teeth.

I know it's only trivial, but I can't help think that it might affect my application because I may appear immature or not in keeping with the image of the company.

Do you think, in the 'anything else to add?' part of the interview, I could perhaps mention that the braces are being removed in a few weeks and will be long gone before I start the job.

Am I totally over-reacting about this? I just can't help feel that it might hinder my application.

I honestly wouldn't worry about the braces. Adults have them now. Does that mean they are teenagers? I had braces in my 20's and it didn't affect my work.

I would not address it at all if I were you.

Don't mention the braces!

The best way not to look "young" is to not act young. Use proper grammer "like, totaly fer sure, like, I'm always on time, like, for real" would not be the correct answer to the question "Are you punctual?" Make eye contact, don't chew gum, wear something profesional that is conservative, fashion-wise.

Try to work out some of your answers to commonly asked interview questions ahead of time, it will make you seem fast on your feet. Try not to say "ummmm..." or "uhhhh..." when thinking of an answer, just stay quiet and speak once you know what to say.

That's all I can think of, good luck!!! :wizard:

Thanks! I am usually quite confident and successful in interviews, I was just concerned about the braces thing. I know what people can't help but judge people on their appearances.
