We are going to be in Orlando from 10/11 - 10/17. We have decided to add in Universal - were going to wait but ds is just 54" so he can do all the rides. The prices for onsite are best on Sunday 16th but I am wondering about HNN. We can go anytime that week (we will just adjust our WDW plans) as we are staying off site at WDW.

Thoughts? Recommendations? We are getting a 2 day/2 park pass so we can go to HP with early entry and then at night.

We are HUGE HP fans in our house - all four of us. We debate which house we would each be in over dinner, etc.

Thanks - Tonya

if you go to universal during the week, that would be good.
sundays could possibly work for ioa.
just go early...

when you say the prices for onsite is cheap on the 16th, does that mean you are planning on booking an onsite hotel at uo?
if you do, you will get the early entry and unlimited express line usage.

if you go on sunday, the studios will close at 5:00 to the public as hhn will begin at 6:30 for ticketed guests.
ioa will be open a few hours longer that night.

Thanks -

We are planning on staying on site to get the early entry and the fotl passes. We want early entry because we want to be able to explore the shops as well as do the rides and understand that WWoHP just fills up like mad.

I was planning on Sunday based on info here but then the HNN thing came up. Is this week the "Hell week" I have read about with fall breaks?

Tonya

based on the dates hhn will be, i would say yes, welcome to hell week.....

but, you won't be affected by it in the hotel.

go early, do mr hotter and use the express lines for the rest of ioa.
do the early entry the hotel guests are entitled to.

hop over to the studios in early afternoon to catch some rides/shows there.

the studios on that sunday will probably have crowds around 4:00.

peeps like to come early to do some rides before the park closes and they go to the S & S holding area to await hhn opening.

leave the studios when it becomes crowded or long lines for the rides.

return to ioa as they close later, i think the calendar listed closing at 7 pm.

i was reading a thread on the disney side last night and saw the thread, when is your school fall break.

quite a few answered.

looks like the 3rd or 4th week had the most replies for their breaks.

you should be fine.
you are staying on site and have the unlimited express pass usage.

We don't get a fall break here in NY, school starts after Labor Day and there are the Jewish Holiday breaks but not a full week off. I would assume that Universal is also effected by these fall breaks. We are going 10/2-10/8 so I think we'll miss these crowds, but good to know there is such a thing as hell week!
