Could CRO buy a block of DVC (SSR) rooms

Isn't SSR really just the new OKW. Before SSR wasn't there more OKW on the market much cheaper because it was larger, therefore more owners=more resales.

I don't see SSR ever having a "high" resale value, unless something particularly stellar comes in to replace Pleasure Island, etc.

I agree that SSR might be too aggressive of a point schedule, unless the new DVC pale in comparison.

To a degree but there's more to it than just size, it's also relative demand. HH and VB are two of the smaller resorts and they come in under both OKW and SSR. Older resorts tend to be available more simply because owners have owned longer and had more chances to lose interest or have financial issues happen. SSR is a little unique in that you saw a fair number of people buy for the incentives then put the contract up for resale immediately basically to try to get the incentive points for free. Expiration also has some effect in a positive way for SSR.
