Is there a way to get into entertainment costuming? Can I ask my recruiter or if I hint and talk a lot about why I want to be in entertainment aspect of costuming...is there a better chance of me getting in to that area?
Also, to those who are doing it now...what are your days like? Do you get to work with the shows or is basically you doing their laundry?
I have been in plays before, I'm getting my minor in theater and my goal is to get a master's degree in Media Communications. So, to be able to work with Disney's theater productions would be a dream come true for me.
Any insight would be really appreciated!

thanks. :)

Well under the roles in the role checklist, costuming is one of the choices?

DD does entertainment costuming and she works on parades BUT she also does laundry.... she loves it.. She has some very crazy hours, 12 hour shifts, and if they are rehearsing something new, sometimes overnights....
She is a theater major, so when you have your phone interview, mention that!!

that sounds amazing. I don't mind doing laundry at all...I was just afraid that was all costuming cpers would do.
Thanks!

That's not all you do, if you work a parade/ stage show you help with issuing costumes, help with costume changes and such.

I will be in costuming in May! I'm also hoping to be involved in the entertainment part of it. In my interview they asked what I park I would prefer to work and I said Hollywood Studios. I would really like to work Beauty and the Beast!
