We are planning on going to the MNSSHP the first part of October. I would like for the kids to match in their costumes, two boys, one girl. DD has a Cinderella costume to wear and I am trying to determine how to dress the boys so they coordinate. I thought about having both the boys be Prince Charming or Gus & Jaq. But for Gus & Jaq it's not much of a costume, just t-shirts and shorts. I would appreciate any suggestions you have.

What about Phineas and Ferb? Old Navy has perfect Phineas shirts. That's what we're doing for DS in September.

My advice to just to keep them comfy and cool. It can be hot then! We went in Oct 2007 and all 6 of us wore matching orange Disney tshirts and shorts, we actually got tons of compliments. :) I think the Gus and Jaq idea sounds great actually. No, they won't be as dressed up as your dd in her princess dress, but I bet they'll be more comfy. ;)

I would agree with the comfort & cool factor. We're hoping to be able to go the first time this September (if the dates coordinate) and knowing how hot it is then, I want to do something cool & comfortable and easy to pack for my son who is 3. I was thinking of getting him red shorts a black t-shirt and yellow crocs and he can wear his Mickey ears. I'll add big yellow buttons to the front of the shorts and a black nose and viola - a cool Mickey....
You can try Chip N Dale - (brown shorts and shirts - add black & white felt stripes to back - one can have red nose the other black nose and maybe you can get hats).
Or if you want to match their sister somewhat -you can do priates (princess & Pirates) - Cut off shorts. t-shirt, bandana, eye patch, etc.

When we went to MNSSHP, the entire family (even DH and I) dressed up as pirates. We had fun, but it was HOT. (Third week of Sept)

Go with comfort ...We went to MNSSHP once in Sept and once Oct .Both times it was 80-85 degrees that night.

I like the Gus and Jaq idea. You don't say how old your boys are or if they are interested in participating. Add ears- grey instead of black if you can find them, maybe a hat, and attach a short "tail" to their shorts, maybe with velcro or a snap so it's not a hazard. Maybe a little eyeliner face paint- nose and whiskers- if they like that sort of thing? If they are old enough to be observant, they'll probably like that better than Prince Charming. Another idea, if you have a very young boy, might be a pumpkin?

Thanks for the feedback! The kids are 5. If we go with Jaq & Gus, I was thinking of putting the names on the shirts so it would be obvious who they are dressed as.
