Has anyone ordered water from Costco for resort delivery lately? I read several older threads and they are a bit contradictory. BTW, I don't have a membership.

I also do realize that there are other options like Garden Grocer, Wegoshop and Turners but I only need to order water (without a delivery fee). ;) We're bringing snacks with us on the plane so no need to have a grocery order.

I haven't heard anything about Costco lately but most people are just asking for free ice water in the parks. No expense, no having to keep it cold, and no plastic bottles in the land fills.

I was planning on ordering a couple of cases for our upcoming trip also. I have not heard that you can not.
Anyone??

You can most definitely order - Costco makes arragements with Nestle Waters to ship water (in Florida, it's branded "Zephyrhills") to your resort via UPS Ground -- and the shipping is free!

I understand there may be some restrictions/fees if you are staying at one of the convention resorts on Disney property.

We are staying at the coronado springs resort and I called just to make sure that I can have water delivered. The cm told me to make sure I put my name and reservation number and date of arrival. I should not have any problems. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

We order water from Costco for every trip. The only time we had a delivery problem was at CSR. We labelled it as they instructed and it took 2 days to track it down and a case had been opened and re-taped with half the bottles missing. We were also charged afee by CSR. This happened 2 years in a row.
Never had a problem at any other resort or been charged a fee to our room.

I did this at Pop in April of 2010 without incident - it was waiting for us when we arrived.

We have also ordered from costco with no problems... if you search their site search for Nestle... the water comes up that way... its $6.99 a case... they will deliver a local water though...

We are staying there. I was planning on getting water delivered but now I am scared. I wonder if they worked out the kinks.

We had water shipped from Costco to CSR in 8/08. It took a couple days to track down the package (it was inside an office in the convention center meeting building) and they charged me a $10 fee.

I wouldn't ship to them again...instead I'd figure out what else we need (like snack, breakfast, and beer) and order from gardengrocer.com. We did that last year and it was great.

Yes, the convention resorts charge a package fee. It's too bad for people like us, but I imagine they spent a lot of time and money handling convention packages. I'm sure you could get it waived if you wanted to work hard at it. It's still probably cheaper to pay $10 fee plus $7 water for a case rather than $2+ each at the park.

How far in advance did you order? We are arriving 08/10/10 and would like the water to be there when we arrive.

You order from the Costco Business site- look under Breakroom supplies.
Nestles water is 6.99 for a case of 24 and delivery is 2-3 business days after your order is processed.(M-F)
I ordered the water last year on Sept 15 and it was there when I checked in on Sept 18th.
I would order it 6- 7 days before your arrival to be safe.

I just ordered water from Costco in June and had it shipped to CBR. I had no problems whatsoever. I ordered 3 days before my arrival date and the front desk informed me that I had a package when I checked in. I am not a Costco member, and I think I paid around $7.00 for the case (including shipping). I am planning on doing it again in October when we stay at Pop. I'm not sure I would do it at a convention hotel, though, where they charge a fee for deliveries.
