Costco tickets question

Long story short.....I helped a friend purchase some of the 3 day passes from Costco over a year ago. She doesn't have a Costco near her and so I go them for her.

Well, they came down to Florida (from TN) and her son ended up getting sick so they didn't use them.

Now she is saying she won't be able to use them as she has started back to school and is working full time, etc.....

Will Costco take them back or should I just try to sell them?

They are the ones that don't expire for 2 year and you can use any 3 days any time until then.

The problem with tickets is that there is no way for anyone to know if they have been used or not until they actually get to the park gates.

I'd try to return them to Costco but I have no clue if they would take them back. I've seen Costco take back some weird stuff though.

Do they even still carry those tickets? I know people have been searching for them at different Costco's and the ones here in N. Texas do not seem to carry them.

No, I don't believe those are sold anymore. Haven't been sold for a while.

Do you mean the problem with selling them and having people trust me?

I was planning to list them to my local Moms' group as I have a good reputation there and even if people haven't met me in person yet, they know many on that board have. Plus they know where to find me!

I didn't know Costco didn't sell them anymore. Huh.

She has 3 of them and they expire Dec. of 2014, so 15 months left on them.

If you are absolutely sure you/she won't go to UOR next year, and they have never been activated, go ahead and sell them to friends.

HOWEVER, those tickets will not be sold anywhere at any time for the foreseeable future (IMO 2 years or more) because of WWoHP Diagon Alley opening next summer. Prices for tickets will soon skyrocket.

No, I meant for taking them back to Costco or selling them on ebay or something. They wouldn't know if they were used or not.

But does the ticket itself say non-refundable?

I'd still take them back to Costco and see if they will do it before you try anything else. Costco is usually great at returns.
