Costco package ticket questions.

There are two adults and two kids going on our trip in Aug. We are looking at booking through Costco this weekend just to lock in rates in case they do a price jump. I am getting a 1 adult 2 kids package for tickets as I will already have my annual pass by that time.
For the names on the package, I was going to put myself and the two kids as i am organizing, paying for the package, and being the one to check in on the check in date. Adult 2 will not arrive until the next day. Will my name appear on the ticket when it arrives or will i be able to put the names on the tickets at a different time once they are loaded onto the app?

Do you actually have your AP right now? If not, you will need to book with 2 adults, 2 kids and then call in with your AP code to have your hopper removed. You will want everyone's name on the reservation for early entry. (Assuming you are staying on property. If not, this might not be as important or necessary!)

last time i went it was a costco pkg. we had to pickup travel pkg at dlh desk, it was not a last minute reservation, i booked it a year out. booked room with 4 names had 3 bdrm, 10 in our party. the 4 tickets did not have names on them. i had called in and added names onto the reservation with the hotel, not through the disney travel agency but with customer service at dlh before we arrived. we added family that was staying else where to our hotel room when we got there so that they would have early entrance with us, (upto room capacity) this was a year ago, jan 2019.

With WDTC or Costco, I try to have all the names of my travelers (or potential travelers) handy at the time of booking. Although you can add people to the room, even at check-in (based upon occupancy), the configuration of the suite's bedding is set at the time of booking. It can change based upon availability at check in, but I prefer the suites with more queen size beds as opposed to kings. I was told central reservations (DLH concierge told me the hotel is contacted directly for suites and does a preliminary hold on bedding types within 24 hours of booking. I can't confirm this information though!) does a general hold on the bedding configuration of your party based upon the number of people on your reservation. For instance, I like the 4 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa for the 2 bedroom suite at the DLH. If I don't have enough people on my reservation, I could end up with 2 King Beds and 1 Day Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa which would be less than ideal for my group. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it is a lot of money to have no control over the type of beds available!
