Costco delivery?

I read a while back that Costco would deliver water free of charge to OKW. Did I read correctly? I was wondering about them delivering other things. My daugher is getting married at the Swan and Dolphin and we are having a small reception back at our villa at OKW. I was wondering if Costco would deliver like champagne, a cake, sandwich, fruit and veggie trays, etc. Does anyone know?

I doubt it. Costco delivers through UPS. I don't think they will ship perishables. Why not just rent a car for a day and run over to Costco yourself?

I just read on someone's wedding/honeymoon trip report that they had water from Costco shipped to their resort. It may be worth looking into.

It's only the stuff on their website that can be delivered. There are some food items, but nothing like the deli trays you can get at the warehouses. I just used them for bottled water and a few snack items...worked out great!

We had a case of bottled water delivered to BWV for our trip this past Sept and it was only $7 and change, delivery included! I ordered it through Costco.com and had it shipped directly to the resort. You will most likely have to purchase and transport the other items yourself from a local Costco. But the water is a great deal!

How far in advance do you order before you arrive at resort? The timing of this would have to be timed right huh??

Costco will deliver it within 2-3 days so I ordered it to arrive by Thursday for our Friday arrival. It actually got there on that Wednesday. In addition to the resort address and phone number, I also included my name and check-in date in the shipping info. It worked great!

You can place an order without being a member but they add a small surcharge (I think it's 5%)...so big deal, you'll be paying just a few cents more per case of water. I will say the only thing we weren't crazy about was the brand they deliver in FL...it's Zephyr Hills and to us it doesn't have the best taste. We really do prefer Dasani, but the price and convenience of ordering thru Costco make up for it.

I agree Zephyr Hills isn't the best tasting water. Back in the day, that's all you could get at Disney! It was the official water for a while, before Coke got the official slot with Dasani water.

They will go to the store of your choice including Costco. They may be able to pick up special orders. I would contact them to find out for sure. Enjoy the wedding.

I had water from Costco delivered last Sept to SSR and wasn't a member at the time. I would order a few days in advance since my order ended up taking longer as it was shipped later and than delivered to another resort so I arrived before. I ended up leaving 1/2 the case. You can also check out Staples which I believe has free delivery.

I believe Staples no longer has free delivery. I think you have to spend $50 for free shipping and a lot of people just order a printer ink cartridge (or something else small enough to pack for the return trip home) to qualify.

We use wegoshop at every visit and Marge always reminds us that she can come back if we need more groceries and I think she gives a discount on the fee but I am not positive. Great service!
