How much does it cost to park at Disney? trying to figure out if we should get a service to pick us up at the hotel or rent a car

Parking fees recently went up (April, 2004). It now costs $8 to park a car and $9 to park a camper/RV.

Thanks Mad4theMouse !

BOOOOO! to the new parking prices! When I first got on this board I think I remember them being $6, and then going up to $7, and now they're $8 per day! I'm glad I saw your post because I was going to make my envelopes this morning to allocate my money.

It's getting so much more expensive to take vacations.... but then again, thank the LORD that we live in a country where we have the freedom and luxury to take vacations! Just got to keep reminding myself of that when I start fretting about inflation. A vacation is not a "right", it's a benefit of FREEDOM - a gift from God!

Geez pretty soon it will be $10 just to park! I think that is crazy

That you have to pay to park, I mean how else would you get into the park?!?! There isn't a way to walk there unless you are staying on site, and then there are buses but only for the same. My mom has always said she disliked it, but would be more than happy to pay it if Disney would donate they parking money or atleast a portion to a charity each day. It's even more fustrating when your going only for an hour or so for dinner, etc.

After going to bed one night and seeing a newly paved parking lot by the time we got up, I can see where the parking money goes. Plus, if you look at the lots after all the people go home and see how much work it takes to clean them of the dirty diapers, broken bottles, soda cans and left over lunches, you might also understand what they do with the parking money. Those staying on site aren't paying, just those staying off site...so for those staying on site, it's a nice perk. And really, judging by all the buses coming in from other hotels (some charge you, some don't) and I believe the city bus comes into T & TC, that's another way to not pay. Or have an AP..another way to not pay....so there are ways into the park without paying.

It takes money to maintain those lots..heck our city charges you to park if you just want to walk around our sad downtown. Most parks charge for parking.

Anyone have a rough idea how many paying cars go through each day? I'm curious how much they make in one day.
