Cost or taxi from Orlando Airport to WDW?

Just wondering how much a taxi is from Orlando Airport to WDW? Would we be better off with renting a car? Not planing on doing any driving once at the resort.

The price to the resorts will run you about $50.00 to $60.00 either by taxi or car service. Taxi's are on demand at the airport on the first floor commercial lane. If you cruise the web you may find a bit better price with a car service company listed. You could pick up some groceries on the way. ME is also available. but it is bus transportation to the resorts. If you stay on the Disney property you don't need a rental car. Fact is transportation is so convenient you won't want to walk all the way to your rental to use it.

We just returned from WDW on Sunday. We did a split stay WL/Dolphin. We used ME for transfer to WL, then for return to MCO we rented a car at the Dolphin. $32.00 total. Three in our party. Great value for us and our compact was upgraded to mid size.

It also depends which resort you're staying at. I rented from National once, picked it up at the airport and stopped for groceries. Returned it at the Dolphin - very convenient as the bellman just took it from me and gave me a receipt. We were staying at the Swan. It was only about $35 total. Just kept it for one day (actually a couple of hours). That was a good option for that trip. I've paid $55 for a taxi back to the airport from that resort - just got one out front. That was simple, so worth the extra $.
