Don't have car this trip to do hotel switch. How much would a taxi be from GF to BC to move our stuff? Just don't want to wait for our luggage to be transferred.

Do you have to make a reservation for the Minnie Van and Lyft or are some parked outside all the time like the taxis?

I'm not sure what time we will be moving that day since we are going to MK first and want to be checked-in at BC before dinner time.

My understanding is that you don't make a reservation. It uses the Lyft App and functions similarly. This WDW Prep School article does a good job of explaining how the service works: https://wdwprepschool.com/minnie-vans-at-disney-world/#Resorts

You can not move luggage with the Minnie Van FYI. I have had a few drivers tell me that.

We use both uber and lyft and use them interchangeably depending on estimated wait times on the app. You download the apps onto your phone, open the app when you need a car and then plug in your destination. It will tell you your estimated wait time and the cost. I've never waited more than 7 minutes for an uber or lyft to arrive. You do not reserve one in advance. Minnie Vans tend to take longer due to a smaller fleet. Uber or Lyft should cost less than $10.

Have you considered that you may not have a room before your luggage arrives anyway? Most luggage transfers are done between 3 and 5, when most rooms are assigned.
Don't know what you have planned that day but we always plan to be in the parks till 5:00, that way, we never need our bags till they are moved.
We did a 4 way split stay in January and it was so nice to just let them do it all. Only one out of the 4 was the room ready early.

Neither. Both services are on demand.
Sounds like your day is a perfect one to let Disney do the moving. What time is your Dinner?

We paid about 7 or 8 from bc to poly and back. We used uber. Didn't have more then a 2 or 3 minute wait.

I think I would rather leave the bags with bell services at BC if the room isn't ready. Then we could just take them to the room ourselves when we returned. We are going to the concert :rockband: that night. Once we had to wait 2 hrs. for bedtime waiting on our stuff to arrive from the other resort. :sad2: We are usually too tired after a long day to deal with stuff like that.

We took our luggage and grabbed a Mears taxi at Grand Floridian to go to the Beach Club in November. We had a split stay and we prefer to bring our luggage ourselves. I think the cost was around $15.
