Cost of taxi between POR and parks??

First, do the taxi's take you straight to the parks or do you have to transfer....same question when going from one hotel to another? We have a few early morning ps' and I am concerned about getting there. Specifically one very early in the am from POR to MK at CRT and one from POR to 1900 at the GF.
Can anyone help me out here? I am getting edgy after reading a new post that the bus service was runnning only about every 30-45 minutes from POR. And can anyone tell me the approximate cost for the taxi ride from POR to say MK or the GF? (if I can even do that) thank you so much! Sorry to sound so pessimistic....just concerned.

One of my old bus area managers came to speak to us at Pop Century the other day. This is now what is going on... Buses will start service at all of our resorts 30-45 minutes prior to the earliest Character Breakfast seating time. Buses will continue to run approx every 15-20 minutes.

That is what Transportation Managment Team is telling us to tell our guests.

I'd go with the bus myself. You can always check at the POR front desk/guest services the evening before (to ask about the early bus) if you are nervous about making it, but since Chip 'n Dale Express is a very recent member of the Disney transportation department, I'm sure he's giving you the "straight scoop".

If you do decide to take a taxi to the MK, ask the driver to take you to the Contemporary Resort and to drop you off near the walking path to the MK. The walk to the park entrance will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on the speed of your party. If you ask to go to the MK, the driver will take you to the TTC - that's as close as the taxis can get. From there you have to take either a monorail or ferry to get to the MK. That will take longer than 5 - 10 minutes! (But of course, you already knew that). A good estimate of taxi cost is $15, including a tip. That's the same estimate I give between any two points on Disney property, although some will be less and some slightly more.

A taxi to the GF will drop you right at the hotel entrance.
