cost of points

Does anyone know what the points are selling for. I would rather not
contact my advisor because I don't want to be pressured. Do you have
to buy a certain amount.


I have 160 and would like to add 40 or 50 points. How much will this increase my annual dues?

Any help would be great!

The dues will vary by resort but you can use $5.00/pt for a rough estimate.

The minimum add-on amount through Disney is 25 points if paying cash or 50 if you need financing. You can buy any amount over these minimums, such as 32, 66, 89, it doesn't have to be in a particular increment.

We added on a SSR yesterday for $99/point. The other resort we inquired about was AKV. There is a $4 pp discount right now bringing the amount to $116/point for a 50 point add on. If we were to add on 100 at AKV and finance it we would put down $1200 and they would match that $1200 making the total down on the loan $2400. We also asked if there were any OKW points available for our use year and the answer was no.

These must be "newer" incentives. Last I saw for AKL was $120, less $18, plus $2 added bonus and a $500 gift card with at least a 100 point purchase.

That incentive seems much better then the current one.

That's the minimum buy-in amount for initial contracts and the minimum to get whatever incentives they may be offering at the time. Its normally a 160 point minimum but at some of the newer resorts they have been allowing initial buy-ins at the 100 point mark. Once you have your initial purchase you can add-on direct from Disney with a minimum of only 25 points (50 if you need to finance)
