I have been trying to find the cost of the photo packages. Can someone provide some info?

How much is the CD? Does it come with printed pictures? If you only want a few pictures, what would their cost be?

Thanks for any help.

It depends on the length of your cruise.

There are two prices for complete photo packages: one with just the CD (digital only) and one with the CD + prints. The prints are either 8x10 or 6x8 (I believe character appearances are the latter size and everything else the former).

If you pre-purchase them online from http://www.mycruisephotos.com then you can get a discount on those two packages. If you decide, once on board that you don't want the package, you can cancel up to the last night of your voyage for a complete refund.

On board there are also packages of smaller batches of photos like 5, 10, 15 digital photos. There are also some print packages and other a la carte type packages, and a bunch of other stuff.

Prices vary, depending on length of cruise. Here's the information I've compiled:
PHOTOS (Sep 2014)
Individual prices are:
8X10 - $20.95
6X8 - $14.95

The packages are 6 ($99.95), 10 ($149.95), 15 ($199.95), and 20 ($249.95) photos. Different length cruises have different options. You can also purchase an all prints package (all your photos printed) for the same cost as the length of cruise CD.

The length of cruise CD cost varies with length of cruise. The prices I've seen are (for pre-cruise purchase/onboard cost):
7 night $295.95/$100.00 to add prints/$349.95, $100.00 to add prints;

5 night $249.95/$50.00 to add prints;

4 night $194.95/$75.00 to add prints/$229.95, $75.00 to add prints;

2 night $199.95/$50.00 to add prints

Special CD prices –

14 night $339.95/$100.00 to add prints;

12 night $399.95 or $339.95/$100.00 to add prints

The 6, 10, 15, & 20 photo packages can be either prints or the CD with 6, 10, 15, or 20 photos unlocked for your access once home.

Recent reports have the prices for onboard purchases of the above packages at $50.00 more than the pre-purchase price.

You can find the costs for your specific cruise at the My Cruise Photos website:
https://www.mycruisephotos.com/DCL/...hy&utm_medium=Disney&utm_campaign=Photography

Prices are generally available 3 months out from any specific cruise.

Also, I will add that if you decide to purchase a package on board that is 5, or 10 or something, make sure you're really happy with that number. We bought a 15 package (I think) on our first sailing and came home to find oodles of photos on the CD that we had never seen in our photo book. I really wanted some so I looked into buying 5 more and it was like another $100 or something ridiculous.

(This last cruise was the opposite, photos I knew that were taken were missing from our CD. *sigh*)

Sorry if these are stupid questions but when you say the 7 night one is $295/$100 to add prints do you mean that for an extra $100 you get a copy of all the pictures? Also, can you talke the CD to Walgreens or something and have prints made?

Yes, the full cruise CD costs $295, and you can get prints of all the photos on the CD for an additional $100.

Yes, you can take the CD to (whatever photo service you want) and get prints made (at whatever they charge). If you purchase the CD, you get the rights to the photos.

Well, this isn't entirely true. You can't just take the CD they give you off the ship straight to a Walgreens kiosk. First, you need to take the CD home, stick it in your computer and install the software onto your computer to get the pictures off the CD. From there, yes, once you have the photos off the CD onto your computer, then you could burn a CD from your computer and take that to Walgreens (or upload them to Shutterfly or some service and have prints made). But the CD straight off the ship won't work at a kiosk type thing. You have to essentially "unlock" the photos therein with the software the company that makes it supplies (stupid). I think they're trying to get you to buy the prints. Keep in mind the prints are all either 8x10 (most of them) or 6x8 (characters).

Make sure you're going to be happy with a big stack of 8x10s. I sure as hell wouldn't know what to do with that many 8x10s.
